7. How is GreatWork! On demand model different from the On Premise model? How does using the On demand option reduce my costs?  

In the On premise model customers have to invest in getting the product license, hardware & software infrastructure and application management. There will be AMC for continuous support and free upgrades. It takes more time to setup and more people to manage.

In the case On Demand, the comprehensive functionalities of GreatWork! are pre-installed and you can start using them within a day or two. There is no need for any capital budget. Customers need to pay for the monthly use without worrying about the application & infrastructure management hassles.

 
   
8. How can I use GreatWork! On Demand from my desktop? Do I need to install any specific software?  
It requires just the browsers with the standard plug-in such as flash player, document viewer, video player etc.,. No need to install any specific software at the client side.  
   
9. What is the Technology platform used?  
   

This is a complete web-based solution and it is developed using standard technologies such as Java, JSP, HTML, XML, JDBC and so on. This is independent of technology platforms. So this highly portable application can run on Open Source (Linux, Tomcat, MySQL), Microsoft, Sun, Oracle and other Unix-Based platforms. As for as the database platform is concerned, we support all popular RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server and so on.

This provides high level of flexibility for the customers to decide and leverage the platform they have already invested in.

 
   
10. How can I be assured of my Data Security? How reliable is the Communication backbone?  
We host this solution in the worldclass and highly popular data center with high level of expertise. They ensure data safety and recovery. We have authentication and tracking mechanism to ensure secured access.  
   
11. How do you support GreatWork! On demand customers? Can the customers take their data once they terminate the contract?  

We provide 24X7 support. Customers need to report their issues through a Customer Support system. Then, based on the criticality and complexity of the issue we will respond.

Yes, we will provide export option to get the data entered by you. For example, the user profile, documents, blogs and so on will be provided to you in the XML format. The system generated data that are useful only when the GreatWork! is used will not be exported.

 
   
12. How do I signup for GreatWork! On Demand? Do customers need to sign a long-term contract?
