Lakshmana Pillai A, CEO & Chief Architect

Lakshman Pillai has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Knowledge Management (KM) and Workplace Transformation (WT).

With a vision and a highly ambitious mission of providing innovative platform for changing the way workforce think, learn and perform, he has founded Lpcube Systems in 2001. As a thought leader and Chief Architect he leads a team of people to build and marketing a complete end-to-end Workplace Transformation Solution called Lpcube GreatWork!.

He has also developed workplace transformation consulting methodology & workshops for facilitating successful implementation.

 

He has international exposure and had opportunities to work and travel to many countries across the globe. He has played multiple roles including research & development, software application development, technology support, consulting, presales, training, leadership & management.

He is a voracious reader, deep thinker and a open minded person to look at the holistic perspective. His ability to naturally converge the power of scientific and psychological approach, helped build high performance teams. He has delivered thought provoking presentations in KM & PMI conferences and has published interesting articles on KM & WT since 1997. In many international conferences he evangelized the concept of aligning Project Management and Knowledge Management. Now he evangelizes the need to democratize knowledge, collaboration, talent management, innovation and performance management. His thought leadership, positive thinking and the energy to turn the vision into a reality is admired by many.

Before founding Lpcube, he spent seven valuable years in Oracle Asia Pacific, Singapore and was managing the partner consulting organization. In 1998, he introduced KM initiative in Oracle. He is the first person to introduce and drive the KM initiative in Oracle. Before Oracle, Lakshman started his career at Wipro Infotech Software R&D in Bangalore. During his five wonderful years in Wipro, he has helped get good number of customers and save strategic customer accounts through his outstanding technology expertise and the unique ability to solve problems. He has worked on Unix projects in Novell USA and Sun Microsystems Singapore.

He holds Masters degree (with distinction) in Computer Applications (MCA) from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, PGDCA & B.Sc Physics from Bharathidasan University. He has taken many certification programs in Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). He is a member of TiE Chennai Chapter and an evangelist of NASSCOM Emerge Community.

 
Suresh Kalpathy, Director Strategy & Market Development
Suresh Kalpathy is a veteran of the IT Industry in Asia Pacific with more than 21 years of experience. Over the years he has held a variety of Executive level positions in Sales, Marketing and Business Development at IBM, Oracle and Microsoft. His vast understating of the Software Business and the Asian Market place have enabled his successful track record of driving enterprise deals, shaping consumer behavior and driving growth in both new & established Markets.
Suresh today is focused on building the market in the region for Lpcube Workplace Transformation and Knowledge Management solutions and bringing the wide array of Lpcube solutions to the knowledge workers.

More recently, as Regional Director of Partner Strategy, Marketing & Solutions for Microsoft, he was responsible for driving their Solutions business as well as an Ecosystem to support and drive a U$ 2.3 Billion business in Asia Pacific. During his tenure, the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem grew its revenues by more than 20% consistently.

Suresh spent more than 6 years with Oracle Corporation incubating 2 Businesses – First, as Divisional Director for CRM, he pioneered Oracle’s entry into CRM in Asia Pacific, establishing a new business for Oracle. Later, as Senior Director, Commercial Enterprise Business, he built a U$ 45 million dollar business in 2 years from scratch for Oracle Applications in the Mid-Market segment. This later was to become a Global strategy for Oracle heralding a completely new way of selling and implementing ERP & CRM.

Prior to that, he spent 5 years at IBM holding several key positions in Product management, Marketing & Sales. He also satisfied his urge to be part of a Start-up by setting up the Asia Pacific operations of a US based IT Services Company called UST.

He holds a Bachelors (Hons) degree in Statistics and a Masters degree in Computer Applications from the University of Delhi, India.

Vivek Anand, Business Plan

With a Masters Degree in Management, Vivek has forged a solid reputation for leading business development activities for major global companies in various international markets for over 20 years. A results-oriented professional in leading business groups, Vivek has management and technical expertise in setting up business enterprises, financial modeling, acquisition and merger, business development, Sales management and related areas.

At present he heads the International Market Management responsibilities for JPMorgan Chase Bank - Treasury Services – Global Business in New York. Prior to JPMorgan, Vivek worked as Director of Strategic Global Programs at Computer Sciences Corporation, Asia Pacific and prior to that with Oracle Corporation in various capacities and geographies for number of years leading business groups. He was also one of the founder member of Oracle India, heading the Country Sales and Business Development activities in early 90's.

Started his career as a software developer, he has garnered experience working for his own software company and with Philip Morris/Kraft/General Foods , Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services during his initial years.
